Meeting 3 in Arcachon, France
The third meeting project is held in Arcachon, France on 18 - 22 May 2015. Our Science teacher Kadi and Physical Education teacher Hasso take part of this visit. The topic of this visit is Leisure Time and Sports, so we hope that in addition to work and planning Kadi and Hasso get to enjoy the sun and the sea of Arcachon :)!
For this visit our school prepared a play about the Estonian national hero Kalevipoeg. Many thanks to grade 4 and their English teacher Nic for this! Our grade 5-9 students had a trip to Tallinn where they visited the Estonian Parliament. The arts works that the students made in the Estonian National Arts Museum were taken to France in order to put together an arts exhibition of the all six participating schools.
To prepare for the visit our PE teacher Hasso also held a fun sports games break for the whole school, and grade 4 students participated in a sports relief event - charity run.
The videos about our national hero, fun sports games and a sports relief event are shared with the partners during the visit to Arcachon.

Meeting 4 in Bialystok, Poland
Two teachers from Tartu International School took part in the visit to Bialystok and its surroundings in October 2015. The visit was dedicated to local arts and crafts. Our Polish friends planned two one-day trips to the oldest wild forest in Europe and to the places where many craftsmen still continue their old family tradition and make clay dishes, weave baskets and make horseshoes. The trips are quite costly but we did our best to cut the costs down. There were so many attractions and it was an unforgettable experience!
Meeting 5 in Czech Republic
This meeting was to take place in Istanbul, Turkey. Unfortunately the destination had to be changed due to terrorist acts in Istanbul in April 2016. The meeting was transferred to Czech Republic, and the project coordinators and teachers met again to share the results of the project, to reflect and analyse the project activities.
Meeting 6 in Chios, Greece
The last meeting of the BISH project took the participants to a lovely island called Chios. We enjoyed the hospitality of the Greek partners, students and their families! The round-up and farewell event was heartwarming, fun and inspiring! Thank you for the Greek team for the wonderful time in Chios!
